You’re invited to join the Empowered Parents Network (EPN) this Tuesday, April 2 to celebrate National Autism Awareness Day.

April is National Autism Awareness Month. To learn more about autism and find resources now, check out our story on The HOP.

Here’s how you can get involved on Tuesday:

  • Wear blue for autism awareness. The HOP story above includes a link to a downloadable/printable Autism Awareness Day card – we encourage you to take a selfie holding this card (or holding an Autism Awareness Day sign of your choice!) to show your support on Tuesday. Be sure to post your selfie to social media using hashtags #EPN and #DISHLightsItUpBlue.
  • Join us from 12 to 1 p.m. MT on Tuesday at Meridian or remotely via DISH Vue for our guest speaker, Liz Coan, a Children’s Hospital Colorado Developmental Pediatric Psychologist. Liz will be speaking with us about autism, how it affects children and adults, and how we can better support children and parents affected by this disorder. Sign up whether you’re joining us in-person or remotely here.
